Through its Perpetual Planet initiative, Rolex is supporting people and organizations using science to understand and devise solutions to the world’s environmental challenges, such as protecting the oceans. Sylvia Earle’s Mission Blue is one of them. The partnership between Mission Blue and Rolex is a joining of minds, forces and resources in the name of a brighter future for the oceans. The organization identifies special places, called Hope Spots, that are vital to the health of the oceans and works with local communities to build a case to establish or improve marine protection.
