As part of the UNESCO x Royal Enfield collaboration, ‘The Great Himalayan Exploration’ took our team of rider-researchers on an adventure that inspired deep connections with the beating heart of the Himalayas — its communities and natural wonders. 21 cultural practices rooted in ancient wisdom and the spirit of the surroundings were documented through the ride; 3 Northeast states traversed; and countless lessons learned along the way. But this is only the beginning of the journey, where more sights, sounds, and lesser-told stories are yet to be learned, preserved, and shared.
