What do you get when you cross expert craftsmanship with an uncompromising attention to detail and accessibility with a large portion of versatility?… No, this isn’t the setup to a really bad Dad joke — far from it actually — as the answer is right before your eyes.
The Lot.880 Vintage Slim Jeans are the very legitimate lovechild of a collaboration between vintage repro specialists Warehouse & Co. and quite possibly the strongest in-house brand there is when it comes to everyday staples, Burgus Plus. These jeans are made in Japan and cut from a one wash 100% U.S. cotton 14.5 oz. selvedge denim, made by Warehouse on vintage power looms that weave the fabric with tons of texture.
Now, let’s talk about where Burgus comes in, and that “modern basic” fit. These feature a strong taper and overall trim fit which is super slim but nothing like a modern skinny jean, and more like a super slim jean you may see in a 70s archive photo. Think Ramones’ self-titled album cover. Pair this fit with the aforementioned gorgeous Warehouse fabric, and you’re left with a contender for your new favorite everyday pair.
Each pair is finished with the kind of nuance we’re used to from Burgus: vegetable-tanned leather waist patch, chainstitching on the waistband and hem, hidden rivets, and a subtle hit of Burgus Plus embroidery on the right back pocket.
