Buck Knives started in 1902 when Hoyt Buck wanted a longer lasting blade on his knife. Demand for his craftsmanship took an upswing after providing knives for the military in WWII. By the mid 50’s Buck became a household name for hunters and fishermen with his launch of the Folding Hunter. Holding to Hoyt’s original motto of the finest materials, hand crafted and guaranteed for life, the company is now run by fourth generation Buck family members. Proudly made in Post Falls, Idaho.
