1939 Indian 439 Motorcycle



1939 Indian 439, the 4-cylinder Indian Motorcycle coined the Duessenberg of Motorcycles is one of the prettiest bikes ever made. Finished with beautiful Briggs Weaver fenders and the last year for the rigid frame, it had clean lines, was light and elegant.


This particular bike was restored by the famous Peter Arundel, who for many years now has had the largest collection of Indian Motorcycles in the Southern Hemisphere. He had the motor restored in America by Larry Struck, the name in Indian 4-cylinder engine reconditioning. The paint was done by famous Roy Bogner of Melbourne.


All the parts are original Indian and the motor and chassis have beautiful matching numbers. The engine case has never had any repairs. The bike has the correct Indian scripted 130mph Corbin speedometer and correct amp gauge.
