1935 Indian Sport Scout

This beautiful 1935 Indian Sport Scout is the second year of the famous sport scout series by Indian which are a 750cc engine in a much lighter frame than a Chief. Out of the box brand new, they were faster than any Chief and a much better handling bike with the light girder forks they were very quick steering and with the Y manifold heads they had a lot better breathing and made 25 horse power stock standard and up to 40 horse power with race tuning. These weighed significantly less than a Chief and hence were much faster. This bike has a beautiful fully optioned Indian scripted Corbin Speedo with the odometer and the high speed needle. It is also a magneto model which is much more sort after as the engine runs whether the battery is charged or not. This is a distinct advantage on a vintage motorcycle with a 6V system. It was an expensive upgrade back when the bike was new. Finished in beautiful black and red duco, the bike presents in an as new condition. This particular bike was imported into Australia from the USA by Antique Motorcycles and has been in a private collection in Melbourne for over 10 years.

The current owner is downsizing his collection and this presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to snap up one of the best examples of a Sport Scout we have ever seen. https://nrmotoco.com/motorcycle_for_s...
